As travelers continue to seek socially-distant luxury experiences, establishments have gotten creative with their outdoor dining options. But one resort might have just topped them all. Little Palm Island Resort & Spa in Little Torch Key, Florida—the only private island resort in the U.S. (no passport required) and an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property—is launching an exclusive opportunity to dine in the middle of the ocean.

The “Dinner on the Sandbar” experience allows couples to indulge in a five-course tasting menu while atop one of the island’s stunning sandbars. The five-course gourmet menu will feature caviar and other delicacies (allergies and dietary restrictions are considered upon reservation), showcased by Executive Chef Daniel Ganem. It is all set on a beautifully decorated table in the ocean.

You’ll be surrounded by water and get the best 360-degree ocean views ever. As the resort described it, “Diners will feel the sun on their face and warm waters on their toes.” It’s the ultimate romantic escapism.

“A magical location with captivating views, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa’s ‘Dinner on the Sandbar’ experience provides the ultimate multi-course feast where gastronomy, the serenity of nature and atmosphere go hand-in-hand,” said the resort in a statement.

This private dining experience is available based on the rise and recession of the sea and tides but begins at approximately 6:30 p.m. The price for the most epic meal ever? It costs $1,000 for two people before tip and drinks.

If dining in the water isn’t your thing, the resort offers several other unique options. You can book a private table on the beach surrounded by tiki torches and the ocean just a few feet away. Or, head inside to the Chef’s Table located in the kitchen of The Dining Room. Here you’ll enjoy a multi-course dinner while watching the culinary masters at work. Only one seating is available per evening.
