American Express announced today that the 14th Centurion Lounge will open at Denver International Airport on February 1, 2021. American Express Platinum Card Members will, as of February, have access to the new 14,000-square-foot Centurion Lounge, located in the airport’s Concourse C Mezzanine. The Denver Centurion Lounge will actually be the second largest Centurion property (after the JFK Centurion Lounge) and will feature the first Craft Beer Bar at a Centurion Lounge. The sprawling, très chic lounge will also offer Italian fare under the direction of chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson and design inspired by the alpine terrain of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.

“We’re excited to unveil a new Centurion Lounge at one of the most frequented airports by our Premium Card Members, Denver International Airport, and provide a safe and comfortable space for them as they look to start their travels again,” said Alexander Lee, vice president of American Express Travel Experiences and Benefits, in a statement released to Departures.
“We collaborated closely with local partners to design a space that brings to life all of the unique offerings of Denver, from their renowned craft brewery and culinary scene, to the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains,” he concluded.

The integration of local flavor, in the Colorado brews served at the new Craft Beer Bar and the beautiful commonspace design that exalts the scenery this state is known for, is tangible at the new American Express Centurion Lounge. As travelers begin to fly domestically—according to recent Amex Trendex data, 49% of travelers are likely to return to the friendly skies this summer—Denver Centurion Lounge will follow stringent safety guidelines set out in their “Centurion Lounge Commitment.” The Denver lounge is the first Amex Centurion Lounge opening in 2021, after four openings in 2020, including the 15,000-square-foot JFK Centurion Lounge. As for what’s on the horizon, we’re keeping our eyes peeled for a London opening this year, too.
