WHERE TO EAT: Café Clover

A new favorite of mine is Greenwich Village restaurant Café Clover (pictured left). Either seated inside or out on the patio, you’ll have a wonderful experience. They serve farm-to-table, seasonal fare, which means there's always something new and exciting to try—I’m a big fan of the cauliflower steak and the rhubarb tart. 10 Downing St,; 212-675-4350;

If you’re looking for something low impact but high in ‘kick-your-ass’ core exercise, SLT is the best thing since gluten-free sliced bread. The 50-minute class is centered around a large Pilates-style reformer which is used in every capacity from sitting to standing and leaning. WHERE TO SHOP: Aedes de Venustas

For fancy fragrances from Frederic Malle's Iris Poudre to L'Eau D'Hiver and fantastic felt shoes, try this under-the-radar gem in SoHo. A friend turned me onto it with a beautiful birthday gift and I have been a fan ever since. If you're looking for something a little extravagant but incredibly special, this is the magic spot. 9 Christopher St.; 212-206-8674;
