Making six-figures is a goal for many. Living in a palace is a dream for some. But what if you could do both? It seems too good to be true, right? Well, that dream can become your reality as a family in Dubai is looking for someone to look after their luxury palace, ensuring the smooth running of the property and daily activities of the family.

Silver Swan Recruitment recently posted the dream job that describes that the house manager role is for someone who is highly organized and can manage a large group of staff. Daily tasks would include managing a team of household staff from butlers to drivers, dealing with all the financial relations for the property, managing all the daily operations across the household, coordinating the family’s busy schedule, running errands, training staff and resolving any household conflicts should they arise. You would also be responsible for planning events.

As far as compensation goes, you would make between £100,000-150,000 ($130,000-$195,000) per year, free accommodation within the palace, access to the in-house chef, free time to explore the area, and “free reign” of the house when the family is away (which happens relatively often).

Sound like something you’re interested in? To qualify for the gig, the family is looking for someone who ideally has experience in a similar role. But they’re willing to consider anyone who has household management or luxury hospitality experience across any sector. Preferably, they’d like someone who has a keen business mind with an understanding of finances as well as great communication skills and an organized nature, which is essential.

Also, the listing states, “The successful candidate must be able to embrace a new culture and be able to step into this new role easily as this requires a high level of autonomy.”
