With its white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, overwater bungalows, and stunning sunsets, the Maldives has never had a problem attracting visitors. Travelers from around the world plan trips to the destination to enjoy its cluster of over 1,000 small islands. But while an actual visit to the spectacular country is on hold, it is now offering ways to take in the beauty virtually.

Of course, with so many stunning parts, the Maldives wasn’t able to just pick one spot to highlight. Instead, there are 17 options for those dreaming of traveling to this bucket-list destination. From 360 degree views of the islands and their luxurious resorts to 24/7 live cams of the soothing Indian Ocean, there’s plenty of ways to start dreaming about your ideal getaway for when travel begins again.

So, where can you travel virtually? Well, Amilla Fushi, One & Only Reethi Rah, and Seaside Finolhu all have live cameras that show off the picture-perfect beaches. You can watch the sunrise and set over the sparkling waters.

“Surrounded by the wonders of the Indian Ocean, One&Only Reethi Rah resort in the Maldives makes its home on one of the largest islands in North Malé Atoll,” reads the description of the property’s live cam. “A jewel among a string of coral atolls, lagoons, and white sands.”

As far as the 360-degree virtual tours go, there are 14 up and running at some of the country’s most luxurious resorts. Adaaran Select Meedhupparu & Prestige Water Villas, Angsana, Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, and Conrad Maldives are just some of the properties giving guests access via the web.

But one highlight has to be the Soneva Fushi video. It’s here where Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner honeymooned after their lavish French countryside wedding in June. The duo shared pictures on Instagram from their romantic trip to the gorgeous resort, and American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts property, and now you can see in detail where they vacationed.

Remember that two-story-tall waterslide the “Sucker” singer slid down into the clear blue waters? Well, that’s part of the virtual tour as well as the private overwater loungers where they relaxed, the spectacular restaurants where they dined, and even the jungle they rode bikes through.
