Haven’t you ever wondered what it would be like to step into the pages of a Dr. Seuss book? Well, you soon can as a themed immersive and interactive exhibit dedicated to the stories by the beloved author is coming this fall.

“The Dr. Seuss Experience” is debuting in Toronto on October 26 in a 15,000-square-foot space that will be filled with whimsical settings from The Cat in the Hat and The Lorax. You’ll be taken “on an awe-inspiring journey through nine different, visually stunning Dr. Seuss worlds,” reads the website.

There will be Truffula Trees to swing from, towering clovers to walk through from a Who from Horton Hears a Who!, and the chance to be a circus ringmaster from If I Ran the Circus!. But the highlight of the sensory-filled journey has to be the maze filled with thousands of balloons from Oh, the Places You’ll Go! one of the author’s best-selling books.

“‘The Dr. Seuss Experience’ brings the extraordinary world of Dr. Seuss to life,” Susan Brandt, president of Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P., said in a statement. “And we couldn’t be more thrilled to allow everyone to see and experience their favorite stories and characters as if they jumped right off the pages.”

And along with experiencing a Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz, you’ll also be able to ride on a Seuss-inspired carousel and buy unique themed merchandise.

“We are extremely fortunate to have been given the chance to partner with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to create this truly innovative experience,” Mark Manuel, CEO of Kilburn Live (the entertainment company producing the event), said in a statement. “Our entire team grew up reading Dr. Seuss, and we have watched our children grow up doing the same. There was a lot of responsibility on our shoulders to represent this property properly.”

Can’t make this “Seuss-tacular sensory spectacle” in Toronto? Don’t worry. The experience will tour across North America stopping in Seattle, Boston, and Houston, with more tour dates to be announced soon.
