How the Gucci Loafer Became a Modern Icon

As its 70 years of illustrious history prove, the style makes a lasting impression.

Whether you loved or hated the finale, there’s no question Game of Thrones fans are missing their beloved show. After eight years of dragon drama, many are looking for ways to still live out their Seven Kingdoms fantasies. But, there’s finally some good news as it was just announced a Westeros-themed cruise will set sail next year.

Luxury cruise line, Cruise Croatia, announced a seven-night itinerary that will take travelers to the main filming locations in Croatia. At each of these destinations, a show expert will explain both the historical significance and filming details.

“Witness places like Bakar Fortress in Dubrovnik, perched above another legendary site, the Pile Gate, representing Kings Landing, and Trsteno Gardens, which served as its palace gardens,” reads the website. “ It’s at this very spot where Sansa Stark revealed secrets about King Joffrey to Lady Olenna. Visits to some of Croatia’s island jewels like sunny Hvar and Krkra National Park with its spectacular waterfalls and plenty of tasty Dalmatian fare are on the agenda too.”

There will also be a Game of Thrones-themed reception, exclusive goodie bags, an “epic” farewell party in the heart of the Kings Landing—Bokar Fortress in Dubrovnik—as well as a Games of Thrones expert as the cruise director. Plus, the non-themed activities are just as exciting, like visiting Krka National Park and the Blue Cave grotto. Of course, typical cruise amenities like most meals, onboard wifi, and transfers are included as well.

Interested in booking? The cruise sets sail on August 8, 2020, and starts at $1,895 per person. The only problem is that it's very intimate with only 38 spots available. So, you have to act fast.

But, Cruise Croatia is holding a contest now to go on the voyage for free. To enter, all you have to do is fill out an entry form by June 9 telling the cruise company which characters you and your friends are most like from Game of Thrones. A winner will be selected who will be able to bring three friends along on the trip.
