There is perhaps no more important vacation than the one you take for your honeymoon. That ’s why it’s crucial to plan every single moment of the trip to ensure it’s of the utmost perfection. But, if you’ve got some extra cash sitting around, the fine folks at Original Travel are happy to plan the perfect honeymoon for you. In fact, they already have one waiting.
Original Travel, a company that specializes in tailor-made trips created what could only be described as the dream-to-end-all-dream honeymoons in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand. And all it costs is $100,000.
“Thailand combines luxurious accommodations, idyllic beaches and a chance for couples to truly immerse themselves in the setting,” Tom Barber, co-founder of Original Travel, explained to Forbes in a statement as to why they chose it as the dream destination. “The range of choices is so abundant—whether it’s dining at a world-class restaurant (17 Bangkok restaurants hold Michelin stars), sampling street food from a local market, or enjoying a fresh-off-the-tree coconut on a pristine beach.”
The whopping 16-day trip encompasses some seriously wanderlusty destinations including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Koh Kood, as well as a quick day trip to Cambodia. Along the way, the newly betrothed couple who is fortunate enough to take this honeymoon will get to take a helicopter tour of Bangkok by day, and spend the evening sipping cocktails at one of the rooftop bars in the world—Sky Bar at Lebua. They’ll then greet a few elephants at the Four Seasons Tented Camp in Chiang Rai, learn about the silver industry in Chiang Mai at Wat Srisuphan, and make their own silver plant, and learn how to cook authentic dishes with local chefs. The couple will even get to learn a few Muay Thai boxing moves from the professionals at The Siam in Bangkok.
But that’s not all.
The couple will also travel to Cambodia via private plane and then by helicopter to visit the temples of the Angkor complex alongside a local guide. Next, they'll meet with the indigenous hill tribe in Chiang Rai to dine on another traditional meal and learn more about local traditions and history.
Finally, the couple will make a few last stops, including a stay at the luxury accommodations at Soneva Kiri. There, they will dine in a bamboo pod perched on the property’s treetops and sip on champagne served to them by a waitstaff who must zipline to meet them.
But, perhaps the best part of this over-the-top adventure is the fact that it’s a vacation you and your new spouse can feel good about as the company partakes in 100 percent carbon offsetting for all travel.
So what are you waiting for? Go put down a deposit, then, all you need to do is find someone to marry so that you can take this trip.
