Eden Roc Cap Cana has quickly become one of the most sought-after resorts in the Dominican Republic. After all, their kids' club is an overwater bungalow on a private island with a mini spa. But, the Relais & Châteaux property just launched a new offering for adults that's even cooler: private dinners and spa services inside a cave.

The luxury property has a unique cenote—a deep cave made from limestone—on the estate that guests can use for various activities, from wellness to dining experiences. The team built a deck in the cenote to be used for yoga, meditation, meals, and more.

The recently launched Cenote Wellness Retreat experience for guests includes a yoga lesson, followed by a massage, meditation session, and topped off with a healthy smoothie. And all the while the waterfall fountain provides the healing sound creating a more therapeutic experience for guests. "To be in the womb of the mother earth," as the ancient Tainos call it.

And for a truly memorable and private dining experience unlike any other, guests can immerse themselves in nature and enjoy a private dinner set up in the property's unique cenote. That same waterfall fountain creates a naturally relaxing meal serenade for guests to unwind and connect with the natural vegetation of the Dominican Republic.

"We're lucky at Eden Roc Cap Cana that we are situated within such beautiful, natural surroundings," Stefano Baratelli, Managing Director, told Departures. "While we have an incredible beach on one side of the estate, there's a secret gem that not many people know exists until they come to our hotel - this is our very own cenote. As this is such a unique, natural wonder of the property, we want our guests to feel the energy and immersive moments of the cenote."

When not in the cave, you can enjoy time in your equally relaxing villa or suite with a private pool. Plus, the team ensures all members of the family are pampered. In addition to the luxe kids club, they have a VIBabies package that includes babysitting, diapers, toys, milk, and more.

Perhaps it's time to crawl out of the cave you've been living in for the past year and into a new one.
