After a year of limited travel, it seems only fitting to book not only a trip but an epic journey. That’s what Uniworld Boutique River Cruises just created with their new “Rivers of the World” itinerary that takes you through nine countries on two continents over 46 nights.

Departing May 20, 2023, the voyage will travel from Cairo to Lisbon along some of the world’s most stunning rivers and take place on five ships. It all starts in Egypt aboard the brand-new S.S. Sphinx, where you’ll spend 11 nights floating on The Nile River with an onboard expert Egyptologist. The following 11 nights will take place on the new S.S. La Venezia, where you’ll explore the wonders of the Venice Lagoon and Po River.

Travelers will then head to Hungary and sail from Budapest to Passau on the S.S. Maria Theresa, where a private tour of the Schönbrunn Palace—the former imperial summer residence during Maria Theresa’s reign—is included. The S.S. Joie de Vivre will then take you through the best of France along the Seine for seven nights before completing the adventure in Portugal on the S.S. Sao Gabriel through the gorgeous Douro River Valley.

Along the way, passengers will get to visit spots like the UNESCO-protected temples of Abu Simbel in Cairo and experience the iconic Moulin Rouge in Paris and more. And, of course, you’ll get to spend the nights aboard five floating boutique hotels with every luxury amenity imaginable. The oversized staterooms are all designed to reflect the destinations to which it sails. So, for example, the S.S. Maria Theresa features regal 18th-century decor.

The itinerary is all-inclusive, combining cruise and land portions, and also features a dedicated Traveling Concierge that will accompany guests to assist with all needs. The trip starts at $38,999 per person for a French Balcony stateroom.
