Trend predictor, Virtuoso, came out with their annual Luxe Report results and it includes some interesting tidbits. They surveyed their affiliated advisors in North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East to discover where, why, and how families are traveling this summer.

Europe
In at no. 1? Unsurprisingly, Italy has remained the family favorite for 10 years in a row. It's tough to beat the family-pleasing gelato, pizza, pasta, and glistening Mediterranean beach combination. There are so many faces to an Italian summer vacation, whether it's a road trip, or a dreamy jaunt along the Amalfi Coast, just remember not to wear flip-flops if you're visiting Cinque Terre. Europe’s overall appeal is strong, with England, France, and Spain also appearing on the list.
Sunny Climates
Families looking to unwind under sunny skies are heading to Mexico (Punta Mita is the country's coastal destination of the moment, after all), Hawaii, and the Dominican Republic, according to the report. With its abundance of theme parks and warm weather, Orlando is also a natural choice for families.
