Aston Martin is known for creating some of the most sought-after, high-end cars on the market. But now the brand is venturing into a new space for the first time: motorcycles.

The brand partnered with Brough Superior to release the AMB 001 model motorcycle. It features a whopping 180-horsepower turbocharged V-twin engine and has a combo aluminum and carbon fiber body to make it super lightweight. The wheels are matte black, while Aston Martin's traditional racing colors add a unique touch to the overall design.

"This is what we believe a cutting-edge motorcycle should be. We are very proud to see the Aston Martin wings on a motorcycle for the first time," said Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman in a press release. "In addition to applying the skills we have developed for cars such as the groundbreaking Aston Martin Valkyrie, we have also been able to bring our special expertise in the traditional craft techniques to this project. The finished product is a truly beautiful motorcycle, a design and engineering work of art."

After announcing the partnership in 2019, Aston Martin released the first video of the motorcycle in action on Wednesday at a track in France. While fans were certainly excited to see the vision come to fruition, they'll have to wait until the last quarter of 2020 to get their hands on one. That is, if you're lucky enough to get one, only 100 are being produced.

"Everybody involved has managed to make tremendous progress with the development of AMB 001, despite the challenges we have all been facing," Marek Reichman, chief creative officer for Aston Martin, said in a statement. "This special motorcycle is, like our road cars, the result of beautiful design melding with modern technology to produce a bike that any collector will be proud of. We are delighted to see how much progress has been made, both on and off track, and look forward to the moment when production starts for this stunning machine."

Production is set to begin at Brough-Superior's French factory in the fall, and the motorcycle will cost nearly $120,000.
