Visiting the most remote parts of the world is a goal for many travelers. And it seems many shipyards are eager to please those adventurers by building yachts capable of sailing to those spots with a boatload of luxurious amenities to boot. Icebreaking yacht La Datcha, for example, boasts a Turkish spa. Now, famed yacht designer Steve Kozloff is upping the game with his new expedition vessel design called Arctic Owl.
The 200-foot ship is designed to take passengers through the most intense waters as it features a steel ice-class hull. But its aluminum structure allows it to be light and fast and capable of traveling nearly 6,000 nautical miles on just a single tank of gas. That means you could go from New York to the North Pole and nearly all the way back without needing to stop to refuel.

Of course, an adventure-seeking yacht needs some thrill-seeking toys. There is an entire helideck with an 850-square-foot hangar to park your helicopter, several garages to house a submarine, and a couple of tenders. This allows passengers to venture deep into these remote parts of the world, seeing it from land, sea, and sky.
When it comes to the luxurious elements, you’re covered as well. Large windows make it easy to take in the incredible vistas while lounging, and the two master cabins boast private panoramic views. There are four additional guest rooms as well as space for six crew members. And in between outings, passengers can swim laps in the large pool, get a massage in the flybridge spa, or read a book at the bow lounge. The experience is all about luxurious exploration.

This is not the first groundbreaking vessel from Kozloff. He created other polar-class sailing yachts like Caribù that have room for three helicopters, while Alexis is a whopping 384 feet long. What will the designer come up with next?
