Iconic swimwear company Vilebrequin is most closely associated to the ritzy shores of the Cote d’Azur, where the brand was founded by sports journalist Fred Prysquel in 1971. But the French label’s newest collection is inspired by a beach getaway on the other side of the Atlantic: the Bahamas, home to the sprawling luxury resort Baha Mar.
Baha Mar’s creative arts director, John Cox, a notable Bahamian artist, conceived of the limited-edition collection design, with a graphic flamingo print inspired by the Caribbean nation’s national bird. Meanwhile, the range's striking color palette of turquoise, white, and lime green evokes the archipelago's natural scenery.
The three-piece collection includes a men’s swim short, a boys' style, and a unisex tote bag, perfect for storing all your seaside essentials. Don’t have a trip planned to the luxury resort? No sweat: the set can be purchased onlineor at Vilebrequin stores across the United States.
