There is something incredibly chic and feminine about pastels. They are such a beautiful way to add some color to your wardrobe without going for bright hues, if that’s not your thing. And they are, of course, a spring staple.

But this year, we are taking them with us into summer as well thanks to all the pretty swimwear pieces we found online. Pastels may not necessarily be the latest trend 'It Girls' and influencers sport on Instagram (although some couture designers did show a slew of vivid pastels on the runway), but they are so timeless that you can wear them season after season without looking passé.

We love a classic monochrome look in soft pink or lilac but we are also spicing things up a bit with floral and gingham prints in pastels. Pretty details such as ruffles and metal accents add to the feminine vibe of both one-piece and two-piece swimsuits.

So before you head for your next beach getaway, take note and add one (or a couple) of these cotton candy-inspired swimwear pieces to your summer wardrobe.
