The Royal Family has officially grown once more as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their first child. The new baby joins Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis not only as official royalty but as one of the biggest fashion influencers in the world. How so, you may ask?
In 2016, London-based consulting firm Brand Finance evaluated that Prince Charlotte and Prince George (Prince Louis had not been born yet) will contribute between the two of them $7.7 billion to the UK economy in the course of their lives, and most of that is due to their fashion influence. Basically, whatever the royals wear sells out in minutes.
Brands like Amaia Kids, Rachel Riley, and Papouelli found global stardom after the youngest British royals were spotted wearing their shoes and apparel. While the brands’ individual styles differ, there is a common thread that unites all of them—they all favor high-quality materials and a fairly traditional and timeless aesthetic.
So to celebrate the arrival of the new royal baby, we rounded up the brands that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have so far worn the most.

When Kate Middleton gave birth to Princess Charlotte, Prince George wore one of Amaia’s blue cardigans to meet his sister. And that’s just one instance of the British Royal Family’s devotion to the brand. Designer Amaia Arrieta spoke to Hello magazine about The Duchess’ first visit to her store: “The first time she came into the shop she was with her mother [Carole Middleton]. It was quite funny because she said, 'I've just had a baby and I'm a little lost. Would you be able to help me?' Apparently, now the entire Middleton clan is a fan of the store.

This British designer’s clothes are Kate Middleton’s go-to options for her kids’ special events. For Princess Charlotte’s christening, both she and her brother were dressed in Riley’s clothing. They’re not going to date in photos in years to come.”

La Coqueta
When Kensington Palace released the official family photos for Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, royal baby fans immediately noticed the cute white and blue set Prince Louis was wearing. It was by Spanish label La Coqueta and, unsurprisingly, the set sold out momentarily. The founder, Celia Munoz, has all of her clothes made by artisans and factories in Spain from high-quality fabrics.

Peppa & Company
Both Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa Middleton are fans of this Spanish/British brand. In fact, for Pippa’s May 2017 nuptials, all of the bridesmaids and page boys wore outfits by Pepa & Co. Designer Pepa Gonzalez created her label in 2013 after “she spotted a gap in the market for high-quality children’s clothing with a traditional and smart design.” Needless to say, she and the Middleton sisters seem to be on the same page.
