Double Vision

In the hills of Los Angeles, two designers inhabit a modern bohemia.

“Where to begin!” Gelila says. “My tribal embroidered stole is my best-kept secret to looking effortlessly stylish. I like to pair it with my black Elsa Peretti bone cuff. I do all my drawing with Sakura Pigma No. 1 pens, and I carry them in a pink crocodile pencil holder. This way I never have to search for one when an idea comes.” “Can I get in here?” Wolfgang asks. “I’m a chocolate fanatic! I like 70 percent cocoa and prefer—yes, I’m biased—the chocolates made by one of our pastry chefs, like Kamel Guechida. I always want to be trying new restaurants, so I call my chef friends all around the globe for suggestions to eat where they live. Dean Fearing, of Fearing’s in Dallas, is who I last called.”
