Why, yes, you can live in a bubble castle right on the sea. If this scenario sounds like something you once dreamt about, prepare to be delighted because French fashion designer Pierre Cardin has put his Bubble Palace on the market.
Listed for $355 million—down from the last time is was on the market for $456 million, according to Architectural Digest—the home comes with an amphitheater large enough to fit you and 499 of your closest friends, a panoramic lounge, 10 bedroom suites, and three swimming pools. The interior of the home mimics the spherical theme evident from the outside of the home.
The Bubble Palace measures in at 13,000 square feet and was built between 1975 and 1989. The terracotta home looks more playground than a serious living space. But don’t let the happy-go-lucky vibe through you off: This home is seriously luxe. It’s previously been the background of some significant parties, like James Bond’s 40th birthday party, and even inspired a coffee table photo book published by Assouline in 2012.
