Mara Hoffman has become a reliable and sustainable go-to for fun, functional...

German model Johannes Huebl is known to dress like a proper Italian gentleman. Earlier this week in Paris, the 39-year-old kept with tradizione, stepping out in a crisp, slimming two-button suit for Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova’s surprise birthday fête at Manko Paris, where he shared a five-tier cake with Maria Grazia Chiuri, Carine Roitfeld, Anna Wintour, Mario Testino, Joan Smalls, Christian Louboutin, Patrick Demarchelier, and other fashion elite.

His look is a meditation on mixing patterns, contrasting a white-spotted tie against a fine-striped button-down—a risky play he flawlessly maneuvered by keeping the parts all one hue. The choice makes the subtle peek of his red-piped pocket square, a reference to the event’s “red love” theme, all the more playful. Immaculately tailored, and catering to his 6’2” frame, the look is made complete with brown cap-toe double monks… and wife Olivia Palermo on his arm.
