Filippo Colnaghi wanted to circumvent the dry cleaner. Inspired by his family's empire—specializing in swimwear, lingerie, and sportswear—the Milan-based 27-year-old saw an opportunity in the luxury menswear market: elegant, functional, and machine-washable suiting. The Traiano suit, while not dryer-friendly, is nonetheless iron-free too. Its secret ingredient? An innovative tech fabric that marries ripstop nylon and elastane with waterproof membranes and wool, all courtesy of a 3-D printing process. Saks Fifth Avenue fashion director (and million-miler) Eric Jennings touts the suit as “a godsend for guys who travel.” Available in two- and three-piece suits from $950; saksfifthavenue.com.
