Coinciding with Miami Swim Week, women’s trade show Coterie has opened its first-ever fashion and beauty concept space. The weeklong pop-up—located at Faena Bazaar—is a partnership with Maris Collective and carries everything from clothing to home wares from contemporary brands such as Adriana Degreas, Jacquie Aiche, Poupette St Barth, 3x1, and Chromat. Additionally, the multilevel shop (conceived by experiential retail designer Valentino Vettori) offers a room dedicated to vintage offerings (like Gianni Versace archives) and services such as hairstyling by IGK.
The VP of the brand, Danielle Licata, wanted to create an exclusive shopping experience for women with one-of-a-kind pieces (like Versace vintage jackets from Morphew Vintage and classic Hèrmes accessories) that add a “museum-like element to the highly dynamic and Instagram-able space where every item is for purchase.”
Such items range from a $46,500 diamond necklace by Kai Linz to a $226 straw handbag by Serpui to a $65 fig-scented candle by Soh Melbourne. Licata’s favorite pieces vary between one-pieces and monokinis from Chromat to soft linen mini-smocks from Innika Choo, and hand-made artisanal hats by LA milliner Gladys Tamez.
The shop is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. through July 18.
