Awards season may mostly be about honoring Hollywood’s finest at events such as the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards but it is also that time of the year when musicians flock to Los Angeles for the annual Grammy awards. And while music definitely takes center stage during the telecast, in terms of fashion, the Grammy red carpet should definitely be on your must-watch list as well.

While movie awards tend to be all about elegant couture dresses and chic accessories where actors and actresses tend to play it relatively safe, the Grammys are a whole other beast. In fact, Grammy fashion is anything but predictable and safe. Who can forget Jennifer Lopez’s green Versace dress with the deepest V-neck the world had ever seen? Or Lady Gaga’s grand entrance in 2011 when she arrived … in a giant egg?

The truth is that the Grammy red carpet offers just as many memorable moments as the ceremony itself. And since this year’s performers include Miley Cyrus, Cardi B, Janelle Monae, and Diana Ross—all famous for their music as much as their style—it is sure that the 61st annual Grammy Awards will be one for the books.

Here we rounded up the most stylish (and a bit outrageous) looks of music’s biggest night.

Alicia Keys

Keys, who is hosting this year’s ceremony, looks absolutely stunning in this sexy V-neck gown.

Ashlee Simpson

Simpson’s Georges Chakra silver jumpsuit and bolero outfit is definitely party ready.

Camilla Cabello

The “Havana” singer sparkles in a long-sleeved pink custom Armani Privé Number.

Miley Cyrus

Cyrus hit the Grammy red carpet in this oversized black suit, accompanied by her parents.

Shawn Mendes

Mendes looks so handsome in this navy blue suit.

Bebe Rexha

Rexha has a Cinderella moment in this red hot princess gown by Monsoori.

Cardi B

The rapper left us completely speechless. She wore a vintage Mugler dress and headpiece from the designer’s fall 1995 collection.

Tori Kelly

The singer looks sophisticated in this strapless black Paule Ka dress.

Nina Dobrev

The actress is a vision in this beautifully embroidered Dior number.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa looks statuesque in this strapless silver number by Versace.

Jennifer Lopez

Lopez flaunts her toned arms in this beautiful Ralph & Russo dress and hat.

Anna Kendrick

The Grammys are all about having fun and Anna Kendrick got the memo. We are totally here for the actress’s fun mini dress.

Heidi Klum

Leave it to supermodel Heidi Klum to pull off such a fun and daring look.

Chloe and Halle Bailey

The sister duo are serving up couture vibe looks in these black-and-white dresses.

Jada Pinkett Smith

The actress’s V-neck dress features a dramatic feather train and oozes an undeniable roaring 20s look.

Tracee Ellis Ross

Ross chose a stunning Ralph and Russo couture pantsuit.

BTS

The South Korean band made their Grammy debut looking dapper in classic black.

Lady Gaga

Silver is definitely trending tonight. Lady Gaga also picked a strapless metallic dress by Celine that she accessorized with more sparkle—100 carats-worth of Tiffany & Co. diamonds.

The Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys have been together for almost 26 years and they haven’t had a bad red carpet moment. Here, the band color coordinated in black.

Ricky Martin and His Son

Ricky Martin looks great in a black suit and a bold pattern shirt but we have to admit his cute son, Matteo, stole the show.

Diplo

The DJ looks sharp in a classic black suit, white shirt, and loafers. We are also fans of his black frame glasses.

Janelle Monae

Monae shut down the red carpet in this couture dress by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Jon Batiste

The musician ditched the suit and opted for a much cooler combo—black leather pants and a military style jacket.
