Qantas A380 flights travel some of the world’s longest nonstop distances (around 15 hours); naturally, they make sure all those minutes fly by pleasurably. A duvet and sheepskin mattress ready passengers for bountiful R&R on an extra-wide seat-turned-bed, as does a cotton jersey sleep suit. Last year, the airline teamed with Samsung for an experimental virtual reality media system, hinting that we can expect innovative technology from Qantas very soon, alongside their existing 1,500-plus entertainment options.
