Printemp’s $100 Million Makeover

The 144-year-old department store Printemps will soon debut a $100 million redo, with three revamped buildings, including a 100,000-square-foot accessories space designed by the firm Yabu Pushelberg, who spruced up New York’s Bergdorf Goodman. And for the men’s and women’s selections, the shop’s new fashion editor, Maria Luisa Poumaillou, known for her eponymous boutique’s early support of Azzedine Alaïa, has culled pieces from rising design stars and old favorites.
