Brazilian Bad Boy

São Paulo's most creative menswear designer, Alexandre Herchcovitch, began his career making latex-and-denim outfits for club kids in the eighties. He's come a long way since—every smart guy in town, including the spiffy staff at the Hotel Unique, wears his refined, tailored clothes. Herchcovitch sticks to classic suits, trousers, and shirts, but he still has an edge: This season he did a pair of slim dark-colored Bermuda shorts printed with neon skulls and bones.
