Set near publishing houses like Ambo/Anthos, the Ambassade became a natural place for writers to stay while promoting their Dutch translations. For over 30 years, the hotel has collected their signed first editions, building up an impressive library that includes Nobel laureates (José Saramago, Orhan Pamuk) and best-selling authors (David Sedaris).
