Sometimes summer is about bringing the fun to you. Thanks to Epson’s new Powerlite 3-D projector ($3,299) with wireless HD, a backyard theater is just an extension cord away. Its 2,400 lumens project a bright, contrast-y picture anywhere, in sizes ranging from 50 to 150 inches. (That’s four times the surface area of a big-screen TV.) Unlike the projectors from a few years ago, you won’t even have to wait until sunset to start a movie, thanks to an extremely bright and clear picture. Just remember to bring a sound bar like the Samsung HT-WS1G, since the Epson doesn’t have built-in speakers. epson.com
