J.W. Hulme: St. Paul
The Minnesota-based brand launched in 1905, creating store awnings in downtown St. Paul and, later, tents for World War I soldiers. Today J.W. Hulme is known for its durable leather shoulder bags and duffles, all made in the company’s original workshop. For its American Heritage collection, craftsmen use an exclusive tanned U.S. leather, which they hand-buff and emboss with a monogram. Bags, from $200; jwhulme.com.
