Azzedine Alaïa

Many years ago the designer Azzedine Alaïa bought an old department store warehouse in the Marais. The four-building complex, which takes up an entire block, is fantastic and very theatrical. In it, Alaïa has created his own world, the opposite of a banal commercial space. His boutique is here, as is his workshop, an exhibition area and even a kitchen. He loves to cook, and if he likes you, he will invite you to dinner. You might sit next to a seamstress on one side and the Princess of Qatar on the other.
