Aptly named “The Apartment,” the penthouse suite at London’s Connaught is an ideal home away from home. With its calming periwinkle and white palette and luxurious yet comfortable furniture, designer David Collins created a perfectly welcoming flat. Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin and their family relocated here while renovating their London residence. Word has it that Gwyneth was so enamored with the dressing room that she ordered an exact copy for her home. The suite features a master bedroom, a king-sized second bedroom and a chef’s kitchen, as well as two teak terraces overlooking Mayfair. $13,400 per night; the-connaught.co.uk.
