Recipe: Tatanka (Vodka and Apple Cocktail)

Traditionally made with vodka and apple juice, this updated take from mixologist Jim Meehan uses French hard cider in place of the juice for a more sophisticated, elegant flavor.

8 oz Zubrowka Bisongrass Vodka
1 750 ml bottle of Etienne Dupont Cidre Bouché Brut de Normandie
Apple slices rubbed with lemon juice, for garnish


Combine all ingredients in a pitcher filled with ice. To serve, strain into highballs filled with fresh ice and garnish each with an apple slice.
