Lincoln Motors and Matthew McConaughey team up on a new, charitable test-drive campaign.

There’s never been a better reason to look for new wheels this season, thanks to Lincoln’s fall test-drive program-meets-charitable campaign, Driven to Give. Through December 31, the Lincoln Motor Company will donate $20 to a participating school or charitable organization each time one of their models is taken for a spin during a DTG event.

A notable partner in the campaign is Matthew McConaughey’s Just Keep Livin Foundation, started by the actor and his wife Camila to support health and well-being for youth. "I chose to collaborate with Lincoln is because it is a brand that works hard to make a difference,” says McConaughey. At some dealerships, J.K. Livin is featured as the sole charity partner when participants choose to drive “bonus vehicles,” such as the Navigator or new MKX 2016—a sleek, luxury crossover that features a Revel audio system, enhanced active park assist, a 360-degree camera system, and panoramic vista roof. (Customers driving any other Lincoln vehicle will help raise money for the dealership's local high school.)

According to McConaughey, “Programs [at his foundation] are designed to give kids the tools to manage stress and responsibilities at school, at home, and in life in general.” The foundation also encourages partnerships with other non-profits to create service days that let students give back to their own communities. With Lincoln’s donations, the J.K. Livin team hopes to fund new schools and upgrade lesson materials.
