Lucchese’s Reboot

Boots with a New York sensibility from Lucchese.

Founded more than 100 years ago by a Sicilian immigrant in Texas, the shoemaker Lucchese is best known for bringing fine Italian leathers to rodeo-ready kicks. However, the brand’s latest men’s and women’s offerings are more Madison Avenue than Mission Alamo.

Boots, from top: jodhpur, $1,095; Chelsea, $995; and chukka, $895. At 4051 Westheimer Rd., Houston.
